Okay, I have a confession.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a guilty pleasure of mine and I think that Fluttershy is simply a cutie patootie. <3

Lazy Days~

Here’s some photos from the past week!

As you can probably tell, now that the summer has begun, I’m beginning to get all trigger-happy with my camera again and I’m also taking complete advantage of being able to wear all my cute clothes without fear of getting them messy in art classes xD

The best part of this weekend is…MY NEW DESK. I actually have a DESK-desk in my room and not a coffee-table-masquerading-as-a-desk! No more back aches for me~!

Also, no more ugly Venetian blinds! Yay for pretty, lacy curtains~

My family doesn’t let our cats outside without supervision, so I took my cat out for a walk on her leash in our backyard.

This little guy isn’t much for the outdoors~

Pretty roses in our garden! \o/

Celebratory Shopping Day!

Of course it might be a tad early to celebrate, seeing as I still have to drive over to the institute at least two days this week to watch BFA presentations and pick up some art that has been put up in the Foundation Show, but I have no projects due and that feels SO STRANGE.

Before I headed out, I had to take all the photos and posters that I had collected over the last eight months and rearrange my sleepy corner of the room that holds most of my decor because it’s right by my bed where I spend 90%-99% of the time in my room. My Eiffel Tower and Vitruvian Man posters went to occupy the other corners of my room that aren’t as interesting as my sleepy corner :3

And of course, my loot from the day! My old sunglasses snapped right in half so I used that as an excuse to buy lots of things from Forever 21 (including new sunglasses, obviously) ^_^

I think my favorite thing I bought today was the polka-dot skirt! The first thing I did when I got home was try out this outfit combination that I had in mind when I saw the skirt on the rack, haha!

Also, here’s my cousin’s newest born trying on the headband I bought <3

She’s so cute!

So, um, these aren’t all of the little illustrations I did for my Digital Synthesis final, but it’s some!

This project was to create an interactive Keynote presentation - a project that sort of followed the same concept as “choose your own path” storybooks.

I decided to be really cheesy and ran with a joke that I had with a friend about CIA being like Hogwarts (I wish!). There was an acceptance letter, buying your paintbrush (wand, haha), and a process of consulting the sorting portfolio to see which environment you should be in.

It was super fun :D!

A project on “Light & Motion”

The class this was done for, the Integrated Media elective, was seriously so open-ended with all of its projects that I ironically had a more difficult time coming up with a project idea for this class than any of my other courses xD

I’M HOOOME.
I’m so terribly elated to never have to go back to the college dorms again. The disorganization and filthiness was too much for me to handle in the end D: I guess I’ve grown up too accustomed to the flawless cleanliness that my mother and sister have always so ardently valued.
Still, I’m sad that the year is over! Friends, classes, projects, and learning how to think in a completely different way than I was used to in high school was a truly great experience.
So, now that the year is over and I’m enjoying what will probably be one of the few summers I have left in my life (maybe even the last), I’ll post some schoolwork as I find them around all of the piles of stuff that I brought home!
This assignment was to draw something significant about hands and/or feet, so I chose to go with the idea of a performance and how hands can create something, but at the same time there’s the pressure of having no room for mistakes.
I’d like to think that I got better at drawing…xD

Guys. This is the project I’m most proud of right now.

In my Integrated Media Elective our first large scale project was to create a game, so I made this game based on the food chain. Each animal was traditionally drawn and rendered and then digitally colored.

MY PROUDEST ACHIEVEMENT YET. THE TIME TAKEN WAS INSANE, OKAY?

I love the octopus the most.
